In the evening of Saturday, August 15th, 2009, Lincoln 184/610, Liberty 183, Elizabeth Twp EMS 520, and Clairton Rescue 123 was dispatched for an accident with entrapment at Bellbridge Road and Lincoln Blvd.  Initial reports described a car into a hillside with a male unconscious inside the vehicle.  Prior to arriving on scene, units were updated that the male was conscious and awake and trying to start the vehicle and drive away.

The accident occurred between Coursin Hollow and Mendlowitz Trucking on Lincoln Blvd.  The vehicle was traveling toward the Clairton Bridge, swerved into the oncoming lane and hit into the guardrail sending the vehicle back into the middle of Lincoln Blvd.  Luckily the guardrail did its job, and prevented the vehicle from going over the hill onto the railroad tracks or river below.  The driver and a passenger refused medical treatment and the accident is under investigation by Lincoln and Glassport police.
