March 28th, 2012 – Around 4am on March 28th, Lincoln stations 184 and 610, and Liberty Rescue 183 were dispatched for a vehicle accident with the vehicle on its roof on fire at the intersection of Lincoln Blvd and Coursin.  The driver was able to self-extricate.  While enroute the police on scene confirmed that it was on fire.

The initial police units hit the fire once with an extinguisher to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby grass and brush.  Engine 184 arrived on scene and found a small fire in the engine compartment area.  Crews pulled a trash line and doused the remaining fire.  Rescue 183 arrived on scene and assisted.  Elizabeth Twp EMS and Lincoln Ambulance 610 were also on scene along with Lincoln, Liberty, and Glassport PD.

After cleaning up a large amount of items that were in the bed of the truck the vehicle was towed by Mendlowitz Trucking.
