Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 – Memorial Day weekend continued our busy stretch as early Friday evening we were dispatched to Duquesne for a tanker assist.  Duquesne had two occupied houses on fire.  Both Lincoln tankers responded shortly after dispatch and after arriving on scene setup a dump tank and tanker shuttle operations.  Monroeville Tanker 5 (195) was also on scene and was part of the shuttle along with Tanker 100 which was used as an additional water supply.

In the early afternoon of Saturday May 26th, Lincoln and Liberty crews were alerted to a working box truck fire on Lincoln Blvd between Mable Drive and Bellbridge Road in Lincoln.  Due to the location of the incident, Chief 184 also requested Elizabeth Borough be added to the alarm.  Crews arrived on the scene to find a work truck fully involved and extinguished the fire.  The Allegheny County Fire Marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
