Our station stayed busy today with Tanker 184-1 standing by at McKeesport Station 2 due to a large water break in McKeesport. The water main was fixed and Tanker 1 was back in service shortly before 9pm.
Around 5:30pm this evening Tanker 184-2 and SOV 184 responded to assist Buena Vista VFC with a large brush fire. Tanker 2 stood-by on scene as a secondary water supply and SOV 184 was deployed to search and extinguish hot spots. Both units were cleared by command around 7:30pm. ...

184 Tankers 1 and 2 responded to assist with a crane fire at All Crane Rental on Rt 837 in Jefferson. Shortly after arriving on scene, a reported commercial garage fire was reported a short distance away in West Elizabeth. Command (Assistant 180) freed up some units to assist with that fire. The tankers remained at the crane fire with Jefferson 885 180 Rescue, Floreffe 178, Elrama Engine 24, and Clairton 123 Truck. The tankers were used to feed Clairton Truck 123 and used two loads of water each. ...

Our station responded to Deer Lane this morning for a possible house fire. Crews arrived to find a smoke condition in the basement. After investigation, the issue was isolated to the furnace and all crews cleared the scene about 25 minutes after dispatch. Our station, Rescue 147 from Central Volunteer Fire Company of Elizabeth Township, and Rescue 140 from Elizabeth Township Fire Department were dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident early this evening with one vehicle into a creek.
The alarm was held to 184 Engine, 184 SOV, and 147 Rescue and crews assisted with debris cleanup, fluid containment, traffic control, and hazard mitigation. SouthEast Regional EMS checked multiple individuals involved in the accident and transported 1 person to a local hospital for a minor injury. Lincoln Pd and Elizabeth Twp Pd were on scene and handled police duties.
All units cleared approximately 45 minutes after initial dispatch. ...
